What do I get with a paid subscription?
A subscription to The Mixcast provides you with full access to over 10 years worth of playlist archives, all 11 of our genre compilation mixes with countless hours of curated music, plus other premium features.

Do I need to have a paid Spotify subscription to use The Mixcast Web App?
While you can view and sample our public playlists without a Spotify account, you'll need a premium Spotify subscription to get our web app to work. This restriction comes from Spotify, not The Mixcast.


Do I need to have an Apple Music subscription to use The Mixcast iPhone App?
Yes, at this time, music playback via our iPhone app only works if you sign in with an active Apple Music Subscription.

I hope to add Spotify log in capabilities to the app in the near future.


How do I unsubscribe from your newsletter?

There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter that we send out. So you can either go back to an old email click the link there, or via the link in the next newsletter you receive from The Mixcast.

Note: If you have a paid membership, unsubscribing from the newsletter will not cancel your plan subscription. If you want to cancel your membership, follow the instructions in the next question.

You can also ask me to manually cancel your membership by emailing info@themixcast.com.


How do I cancel my subscription to The Mixcast?
Sign in to your account and click the "Cancel Subscription" link.


Do you offer refunds?
No, unfortunately our subscription software does not provide us with that capability.


How can I update my credit card?
Yes. Sign in to your account, click the "Edit Billing Info" button. You will then be taken to a Stripe.com website to update your info.

Please note: The Mixcast does not at any time see, or have access to, your credit card info.


How do I reset my password?
This site does not use or store account passwords. Instead, you need to login into your account by clicking on a one-time password link that is sent to your account's email address. You can have that link sent to you at any time via the sign in page.


How can I update my email address?
Please send info@themixcast.com an email from your current address and tell us what the new log in email address should be changed to.


How do I submit a song suggestion?
As an incentive to create an account, I provide a private song submission form to members who have a free or paid plan. It can be accessed by clicking here.


Is The Mixcast an official Spotify or Apple Music Partner?
No, while I use some of Apple & Spotify’s publicly available developer tools in my apps, I am not currently affiliated in any official way with Spotify or Apple Music.

However, if you work at Spotify or Apple and are interested in collaborating, please let me know! 😅
